The 2018 ConnecTra Abilities Expo & Job Fair was our largest & most successful get-together.

The 2018 event featured more than 30 new and returning service providers and employers including Parq Vancouver, HSBC Bank Canada, Open Door Group, the Public Service Commission of Canada, BC Centre for Ability, Vancity and the Canadian Council on Rehabilitation and Work.

Keynote speaker Marco Pasqua, Accessibility and Inclusion Consultant for the Presidents Group, presented about The Impact of Accessible and Inclusive Workplaces.

There were also presentations about the Tetra Society - featuring video voting website TetraNation - and the outdoor access recreational opportunities offered by British Columbia Mobility Opportunities Society and Disabled Sailing Association of BC. Songwriter/producer Graeme Wyman outlined Vancouver Adaptive Music Society, and its fully accessible music learning-recording-performing program.

There were live jazz fusion performances by VAMS members Dave Symington and Jim Meyer.
