As our name suggests, ConnecTra is a connecting agency. We connect people with disabilities to activities and programs that will, over time, allow them to gain confidence and become more active and involved in community life.

We connect people in three ways: with our Employment Mentorship Support Project, by hosting bi-monthly meetings and workshops, and through the provision of an online disability services resource guide. Our meetings are regular get-togethers – very social and very informal. We gather three or four presenters from key agencies, service providers, or organizations with useful information to share. It’s networking. . . and entertaining!

Join us at our next meeting

We'll meet again at the Roundhouse from 2pm to 4pm on Tuesday, March 21.

As ever, we will have a mix of interesting and informative speakers, giving information relating to the lives of people with disabilities. We'll hear from Chloe Angus Design, Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports, and Spinal Injury BC will be talking about their peer support program. (Snacks too!)

Be there! It's FREE!

Western Canada's friendliest disability resource fair just added a job fair to the mix - along with live performers.

Join us for Abilities Expo and Job Fair - Monday, May 15 from 11am to 4pm.

Come along and meet Vancouver's leading service providers to find opportunities that can benefit your life. Talk to employers who are hiring, and see what opportunities they offer. Socialize, hang out and enjoy the live music and dance in the theatre.

It's all happening! And it's FREE!

Please join us for our next FREE meeting at Roundhouse Community Centre (181 Roundhouse Mews - Davie & Pacific) 2-4pm on Tuesday, March 21.
