As our name suggests, ConnecTra is a connecting agency. We connect people with disabilities to activities and programs that will, over time, allow them to gain confidence and become more active and involved in community life.

We connect people in three ways: with our Employment Mentorship Support Project, by hosting bi-monthly meetings and workshops, and through the provision of an online disability services resource guide. Our meetings are regular get-togethers – very social and very informal. We gather three or four presenters from key agencies, service providers, or organizations with useful information to share. It’s networking. . . and entertaining!

Join us at our next meeting

Our next community get-together is held Tuesday, July 18 at Vancouver's Roundhouse - and you're invited!

Come along to meet service providers and useful organizations. There's a meet and greet presented by Leash of Hope Assistance Dogs, a presentation about travel without barriers by Boomer Tours & Travel, and life coaching services by Zubehr Habib. In addition, Eric Molendyk will be previewing summer outdoor activities organized by the Sam Sullivan Disability Foundation.

It's a relaxed, social afternoon with socializing and snacks - a real community event.

We're at the Roundhouse 2pm - 4pm. Please join us.
