We cater to the extreme adventure seekers, both ‘able’ and ‘disabled’, offering a full service tour that includes transportation from Vancouver to Whistler, accessible accommodation, fully catered meals, nightlife, and a number of adrenaline fueled activities such as bungee jumping, skydiving, jet-boating, ATV-ing, etc.
Our adaptive cross-country ski program (also called para-nordic) is designed to meet the needs of athletes with physical disabilities. People who are blind and visually impaired, amputees, wheelchair users and people with cerebral palsy and brain injuries have all taken part in our programs.
Pacific Northwest Scuba Challenge Association
The Pacific Northwest Scuba Challenge Association offers fully accredited scuba courses taught by instructors and assistants experienced in diving with disabilities.
Pony Pals Therapeutic Riding Assn provides both therapeutic and parasport horseback riding and horsemanship to riders of all ages and abilities, as well as volunteer and employment opportunities (as available). PPTRA offers a non-waitlisted program, friendly welcoming atmosphere and has ADA approved mounting ramps as well as a power hoist at our universally accessible facility located in the pristine farmlands of Delta.
Vancouver Ocean sports, formally known as Pogues Sports Canoe Club, is the only club in Vancouver that offers programs for everyone.
