Accessible Services at Vancouver Public Library

Join the Vancouver Public Library on May 13 from 12-1 pm to find out about this resource in your community! This library is the most visited library in Canada. Standing on the grounds of Vancouver for over 100 years, this library has served millions of residents in the area. Join this session to find out about accessible formats, services, and technology at the Vancouver Public Library!

Jennifer Streckmann is the Coordinator of Accessible Services and has worked at Vancouver Public Library for over a decade. Jennifer is passionate about access and connecting all patrons with the services and materials they need to fully participate in and use the library.

Please note that this session will be closed 10 minutes after the start time to prevent disruption. Please be on time, or you can watch the recording on YouTube or Facebook afterwards.

Staff, volunteers, and clients are part of a team and expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner. This means that physical harm, verbal or written abuse, harassment of any kind, and any bullying behaviour will not be tolerated. Anyone found to have committed conduct prohibited by the societies is subject to disciplinary actions as deemed fit by the Executive Director, up to and including removal from the programs.
