All About Diabetes

May 5 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PT

Join the Council of Senior Citizens Organization (COSCO) on May 5 from 12-1 pm to learn about the impact of diabetes! Diabetes is a workshop outlining the effects on the human body. The workshop will also cover the different types of diabetes and how to constantly test your blood sugar to determine levels. Moreover, it will explore ways to cope and live a life with diabetes.

Jerry Gosling has been with COSCO for several years and serves as a General Vice President on the board. He also serves on the BC-Old Age Pensioners Organization, where he is President. Jerry further serves on the advisory board of Translink and the BC Seniors Advocate. He is also Vice President of the Health & Wellness Institute, a branch of COSCO that develops the workshops.

Please note that this session will be closed 10 minutes after the start time to prevent disruption. Please be on time, or you can watch the recording on YouTube or Facebook afterwards.
