Let’s Chat! With Wellness Coach Rita Rawstron
November 27 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PST
Relationships are vital for good mental health, building resilience, and getting through tough times, many of us feel that we don’t have anyone to turn to in times of need. ConnecTra is here to help you expand your social and support network.
Looking for some support? Need to vent? Hangout with your peers and wellness coach Rita Rawston for a chat about challenges you’re facing during this pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been affecting us all in a variety of ways, and sometimes we just need to talk it out! This closed Zoom group session will provide a safe and supportive environment to discuss feelings/worries/anxieties and brainstorm creative ideas to deal with the personal challenges of this unprecedented time.
Our goal is to help you leave the session feeling excited and empowered to embrace this opportunity and make the best of the situation – even just a little bit!
About Rita Rawstron
Rita’s mission in life is “to make a difference”. It’s her passion to see people feel empowered to take charge of their lives. Since 2010, she has worked part time for WW (previously Weight Watchers) as a wellness coach.
Rita trained and worked as a registered nurse before kids but left it all (and the love of her life) to travel Europe for 5 months. On her return, she attended SFU to complete a certificate in health and fitness. After marrying and starting a family, she chose to stay home to raise her 3 children. Parenting wasn’t quite as easy as she thought it would be, so she started taking courses on parenting. Before long and much study, she was facilitating the courses. Rita then pursued her certificate in Family Life Education and continued to facilitate numerous workshops on many aspects of parenting, inner child work for the parents and goal setting.
