Tax Filing & Benefits: Accessible Financial Literacy Workshop

Are you interested in learning more about what tax benefits and credits can help support you and your family? Want to prepare for the upcoming tax season? Join Joanne from Family Services of Greater Vancouver on February 24th, 2 – 4 PM PT, for an accessible workshop on the tax filing process.

This workshop demystifies the tax filing process, guiding you to the necessary skills and tools to file your taxes online. Whether you are filing your taxes for the first time, or want to learn more about how to maximize your tax return, this workshop will provide insight on how to navigate the process from start to finish.

Joanne Monteiro holds an MBA in finance and a Diploma in Teaching. She worked in the corporate world before venturing into educational services, specializing in ESL training, and is enthusiastic and passionate about teaching and financial literacy. Having lived in Dubai, Cyprus, the United States, and Canada, Joanne uses this cultural exposure to reflect on best serving her clients. Outside of work, Joanne enjoys travelling, hiking and trying different cuisines.
