There are many opportunities to engage with others in the community. Check out what’s coming up:
Vancouver Adapted Music Society (VAMS): Music for Everyone
February 6 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PST
Do you want to learn about accessibility and music?
VAMS programs include music lessons, songwriting, recording and performing for anyone with any disability at any age or skill level. Join us Monday, February 6th, from noon to 1 PM PT for a presentation to learn more!
The VAMS studio, which will soon be ready to use after a long renovation, is Canada’s only fully accessible recording studio, featuring adaptive instruments and assistive devices that allow clients to try new things that seemed impossible before.
As the world has changed with public health, VAMS has implemented ways for programs to be delivered online or in person, so nothing is stopping you from getting started with VAMS today!
Please note that this live event will be recorded and streamed to Facebook and YouTube, where it will remain available for our community to enjoy after the session has ended. Closed captioning for this event will be available on these platforms.
The class will be closed 10 minutes after the start time to prevent class disruption. Please be on time, or you can watch the recording on Facebook or YouTube afterwards.
