The BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA) provides financial assistance in the form of a rebate to eligible low- and moderate-income households to complete home adaptations for continued independent living in their home.
- Canadian National Institute for the Blind
The CNIB Foundation is a non-profit organization driven to change what it is to be blind today. Get your CNIB card which can be used as proof of disability for some government programs and tax benefits. It may also entitle you to some concessions from governments and community partners, such as free or discounted transit passes, free or discounted air, train, and bus fares for you or your sighted guide, free or discounted events and attractions admissions for you or your sighted guide and additional accessibility services from banks and other businesses.

- Home Adaptations for Independence
The BC Rebate for Accessible Home Adaptations (BC RAHA) program provides financial assistance to help eligible low-income seniors and people with disabilities in British Columbia to continue to live in the comfort of their home.
- RAD Society

At RAD, they fundraise and accept donations, which they use purchase assistive devices (sit skis, hikers, water toys, Paragolfer, Access Trax, …) so that you can rent or buy them.

- Technology For Living
Technology For Living works with people who have severe physical disabilities “to help them to live as well and as independently as possible.” It has two main programs: Provincial Respiratory Outreach Program (equipment and support to people using ventilators) and Technology for Independent Living (in-home control devices).

Tetra was founded in Vancouver, BC in 1987 to recruit skilled volunteers to create customized assistive devices for people with disabilities.
