Accessible Community Forum: Event Accessibility

April 7 @ 1:00 pm 3:00 pm PT

Are “accessible events” truly accessible for you?

On Monday, April 7th, join us in person from 1:00 to 3:00 PM PT, at the Creekside Community Centre, for our next Accessible Community Forum: Event Accessibility 101. In this forum, we will discuss how to make events more accessible to ensure Inclusion for All. This forum will highlight the experiences of individuals with disabilities and their journeys in navigating community events, from transportation and physical accessibility to communication and accommodations. We will discuss what is currently working and how to implement changes to areas that are not, so that we can work towards a more inclusive space for everyone.

Please take a moment to fill out our pre-forum survey to help shape the discussion. This survey will close on April 2nd.

Your input will help with understanding how to make events more accessible for those who need the additional support. This will help us build a stronger and more empowered community.

Thank you for your participation, and we look forward to seeing you at the forum!
