AssistList is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to help Greater Vancouver residents buy, sell and donate home health medical equipment such as mobility and adaptive aids.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel to the East Coast of Canada or perhaps to Italy? But you can’t because you need an attendant to travel with you and the expenses are just too high. Well, check us out, we just might be able to help!

For more than 20 years, Driving Miss Daisy has dedicated itself to the promotion of independence, connecting clients to the community and enhancing their enjoyment of life.

They assist with medical appointments, accompaniment, grocery shopping, home support, companionship and more.

HandyDART provides “the most responsive, professional and highest quality custom transit services to eligible users residing in the Lower Mainland.”

Motion Specialties offers a wide selection of medical aids and supplies, mobility devices and adaptive seating systems for individuals with limited mobility.

At RAD, they fundraise and accept donations, which they use purchase assistive devices (sit skis, hikers, water toys, Paragolfer, Access Trax, …) so that you can rent or buy them.

The SCI-BC Swap ‘n Shop is a forum created for the purpose of buying, selling or trading adaptive equipment, wheelchairs, lift-equipped vehicles and related items.

Since 1984, SPARC BC has managed B.C.’s Parking Permit Program for People with Disabilities. Apply for or renew your permit to use designated parking spots anywhere in B.C.

Tetra was founded in Vancouver, BC in 1987 to recruit skilled volunteers to create customized assistive devices for people with disabilities.
