Accessible Community Forum: Innovating for Tomorrow – Accessible Technology

May 20 @ 2:00 pm 3:30 pm PT

Event Format: VIRTUAL

Leading up to this year’s Abilities Expo, ConnecTra and the Disability Foundation are hosting an Accessible Community Forum focused on accessible technology.

Is adaptive technology accessible in BC? This session will open the conversation with our community about experiences with mobility aids, software, devices, or equipment that improve accessibility.

Together with our panel of experts, we will discuss:

  • Advances in accessible technology
  • Ongoing accessibility challenges
  • Opportunities for innovation
  • Community experiences and needs

The forum aims to identify what is working and explore opportunities to build more inclusive communities through technology.

Have something to share? We would love to have you contribute!

We’re always looking for more people and organizations to host interesting and engaging live disability focused webinars. If you have an idea for a workshop or presentation, we would love to hear from you.

Please email: info@connectra.org.
