TransLink Transport Plan: Join the Conversation

March 10 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PT

Curious about new bus routes coming into your area? Join TransLink BC on March 10th from 12-1 pm to learn about and provide feedback on the proposed bus routes for the city! Serving the community since 1999, this company continues to grow with the vision of connecting individuals throughout the South Coast of BC. TransLink provides a vibrant transport system for the lower mainland region. They oversee the SkyTrain, buses, and the SeaBus. In this presentation, TransLink will share and gather feedback on some proposed bus route changes and new routes being considered for the Burrard Peninsula area over the next 15 years. The Burrard Peninsula area includes Burnaby, New Westminster, Vancouver, UBC, and the University Endowment Lands.

Iona Bonamis is a transportation planner at TransLink, where she leads the Area Transport Planning team. She is passionate about transforming our communities into inclusive and safe spaces where people from all walks of life can flourish and thrive, regardless of their income, race, and ability. She is a second-generation Chinese-Canadian and she is grateful to be able to live, work, and raise her two kids on the traditional and unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Peoples.

Please note, this session will be closed 10 minutes after the start time to prevent disruption. Please be on time, or you can watch the recording on YouTube or Facebook afterwards.
