COSCO: Well-Being for Seniors

October 28 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PDT

A senior couple sits on a bench outside, the man's arm around the woman's.

Join Jerry Gosling on Monday, October 38th from 12-1 PT for a presentation about COSCO. Jerry will provide an overview of the organization, and how it functions with the Institute.

The Council of Senior Citizens Organization (COSCO) aims to promote the well-being of seniors and their families, advocating for policies that allow seniors to remain active, independent, and fully engaged in the life of our province! COSCO is an advocacy group that offers free virtual and in-person classes to over 70,000 members.

Since retiring from BC Transit, Jerry has been the Vice President of COSCO Institute, has been an active volunteer in his community, and belongs to several organizations in an executive capacity serving on boards. Jerry serves on many boards of directors and teaches virtual and in-person classes on chronic pain, chronic disease, diabetes and other senior health issues.

Please note that this live event will be recorded and streamed to Facebook and YouTube, where it will remain available for our community to enjoy after the session has ended. Closed captioning for this event will be available on these platforms.
