This online session is designed to connect you with the joy of movement, self-discovery, and imagination in the comfort of your home. Explore and improvise through movement prompts, phrases, shapes, and activities that celebrate the diversity of inclusive community dance. Dance is for everybody – all ages, abilities, genders, and backgrounds are welcome. Have fun, be curious, bold, playful and free together. No experience required, everyone welcome!

Janice Laurence is a life-long learner, dancer, educator, and world traveler. Her background includes a focus on professional and personal development along with leadership and change facilitation and research. Her unique dance practice includes the joyful exploration of various mobility aids. Janice was born with the degenerative neuromuscular disease CMT and currently is an ambulatory wheelchair user. She enthusiastically believes that movement, community, connections, and diversity are our strengths. In 2021, she became a Movement Ambassador for the Hereditary Neuropathy Foundation and an instructor for Dance for All Bodies.
