Empowering Lives Through Music
March 11 @ 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm PDT
Join Sheila from the Music Therapy Association of BC on March 11th, 12 – 1 PM PT, to learn about the therapeutic power of music.
Sheila will share a presentation on how to use music to improve your mind, body, and spirit. No musical experience is necessary.
Sheila is passionate about using music to support health, growth, and change. She is a Certified Music Therapist with a Bachelor of Music Therapy from Capilano University. She is also a Registered Clinical Counsellor with a Master of Arts from UVic. Sheila works as a music therapist at BC Children’s Hospital and has a small private practice supporting people of all ages, abilities, and musical interests. Curious to learn as much as possible about this fascinating field, she has completed further training in Neurologic Music Therapy, NICU-MT, and the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music.
