Vancouver Adapted Music Society: Creating Access to Music

March 25 @ 12:00 pm 1:00 pm PDT

Join Bryden from the Vancouver Adapted Music Society (VAMS) on March 25th, from 12 – 1 PM PT to learn more about various programs that support musicians with disabilities.

This presentation will highlight VAMS programs, discuss adaptive instruments/equipment, talk about how VAMS navigates the music industry through the lens of accessibility (regardless of skill level), and reveal some of VAMS’ best moments from 35 years of operating.

Bryden Veinot is the Program Coordinator with the Vancouver Adapted Music Society, helping deliver music lessons, recording sessions, and live performance opportunities to musicians with disabilities. Both at and outside of work, he is part of multiple music groups and recording projects as a guitarist and producer.
