The George Pearson Centre provides long-term residential care to adult residents who require specialized assistance as a result of disabilities, such as multiple sclerosis, spinal cord and traumatic brain injury, cerebral palsy, and a variety of other conditions.

Built in 1952, Oak Care Centre (formerly George Pearson Centre) is located in a 7.7 hectare park-like setting. Resident amenities are ground floor, with the exception of the Stan Stronge pool, which has an elevator to access.
